Tick Twisters

With the right prep, we can massively reduce our dog's chances of picking up ticks.

Always got to be prepared though!! Get yourself ready to remove the pesky, disgusting things with this handy set of tick twisters.

Each pack includes two tick removers (in two different sizes) with silicone handles to remove ticks from your dog (or from humans). Remember to slide the fork right under the body then TWIST before you lift (and check to see that the head isn't left under the skin). 

The useful case allows you to always have the tick removers at hand and it can be clipped to a belt or a backpack. As a former professional dog walker I can't tell you how many of these I've lost! This new set is clipped to a loop inside my rucksack and goes everywhere with me, just in case!

🤓 Top Tip: Once you've removed a tick, freeze it in a sealable bag. It's rare for dogs to become ill from tick bites but this means you've got it there if further tests are required. 

🗑️ If you are disposing of the tick immediately, a good way to do this is to pop it in some sellotape, fold and them put it in the bin.
